ROBBERY AT JEANNE`S

Ordinator Wounded

Yesterday two unknow archers robbed the trader Jeanne`s shop in Vivec`s Foreign Quarter. The criminals crabbed several magical weapons and expensive clothing, worth a total 15 000 septims. "Thank Gods that my shipment of limeware did not arrive earlier this morning, or the robbers would have got that too," said Jeanne. "I really don`t know who those men were. They wore helms, and everything happened so fast..."

If it would have stayed that way, it would have propably taken ages for the Ministry of Truth to start an investigation. But on their way out, one of the robbers nervously pulled the trigger and fired four bolts towards a nearby Ordinator. The victim was transported to the hospital with medium wounds. This event really pissed the Ordinators off. "If they touch one of us, they`re gonna pay. Swift and fast," said the leader investigator, Varen Milen.

There is not much to say about the criminals. They were of medium height and wore Dwemer helms and common clothing. They were armed with Dwemer crossbows and some kind of magical bolts. If anyone has information about these men, report to Ordinator Milen at the Ministry of Truth.

CRASSIUS CURIO DENIES GUILT

The Hlaalu Councellor claims that he has never humiliated anyone

Last week, a Wood Elf called Rathil pressed charges against the Hlaalu noble Crassius Curio, saying that the man violently ordered her to take off her clothes. When she didn`t obey, Curio took out a dagger and intimidated her.

"This is nonsense," said the angry Councellor. "I have never harmed anyone in my life. I don`t even carry a weapon! It is true that I sometimes politely ask people to undress, but that`s because I need to see if they fit into my new play! And anyways who are you going to believe - a homeless pauper Wood Elf or a Hlaalu noble?"

The trial over "uncle Crassius" will be held next week, due to the busy times in Ministry of Truth. If he should loose, he might be fined pretty badly and forced to leave his Councellor Seat.

ANDRE MAUL BOUGHT MORE LAND

Dagon Fel not content

The wizard Andre Maul, who already owns a Dwemer ruin near the city of Dagon Fel, has recently purchased an island north of the town. The citizens think it`s a serious threat to them.

"Maul is a Breton, and everybody knows he hates us Nords," says Heifnir, the towns only trader. "If he has bought all the land around Dagon Fel, he might start gathering armies and wipe out our settlement, attacking from each direction. And there are gossips that he has built several Sphere Centurions. We cannot go against the Dwemer machines!"

The local Imperial Guards think that everything is under control. "I really don`t think that Andre Maul would attack Dagon Fel only because of his racial priorities," says one of them. "It is common amongst the rich landlords to extend their domain and constructing Dwemer machines has recently become a hobby of the rich wizards. Besides, if he should attack, we have a garnison of seven Guards and I`m sure the other wizards of the area would be willing to help us too. There is no reason to panic."

The townsfolk, however, do not share the Legion`s optimistic wiews. They think that Maul has bought the support of the other nearby mages and there are already rumors about him trying to buy the Vacant Tower right next to Dagon Fel.

Our reporters couldn`t meet the "notorious" wizard himself, due to his incredibly busy schedule.
