CRASSIUS CURIO IS INNOCENT!
Yesterday, the long-expetced trial was held over the Hlaalu noble Crassius Curio. As our readers remember, Rathel the Bosmer accused the man in threatening to take off her clothes. The jury, however, found the Councellor not guilty, and Rathel faces a large fine for damaging Curio's reputation.
"It all happened as I told you," said Rathel furiously. "Curio got loose because he had the best loyar, and because he had good reputation and lots of money. I am not going to pay this fine, because I simply cannot. I am a poor pauper without any treasure of my own." The famed nobleman himself is glad that all this horror is finally over. "I don't want to talk about this," said Crassius. "It has been very humiliating for me to be brought before court by a pauper. This thing must be forgotten!"
The Ordinators who are on the case told us that Rathel's fines will be collected no matter what. Her home (if she has any) will be searched and if no treasure is found, Rathel will have to work in some Plantation to earn money for the fine. Meanwhile, rumors are about that Rathel has escaped Vivec and seeks the help of Cammonna Tong to assassinate uncle Crassius. These rumors have no factial proof, however, and the Ministry of Truth is looking into it.
